I do acknowledge the given circumstances are really difficult. One could question our ability and longevity as we got ourselves into this. I rationalize and say that if anything, this is even better than the norm. It keeps us attached and in love with each other. When relationships become routine, people tend to fall out of love. When you rarely spend time with your girlfriend or boyfriend, you have the feeling that you can never get enough of your girl/boy, therefore it can never become routine, therefore it always feels like the first time, therefore the sparks and cheap fireworks and sparklers are maintained and every meeting becomes phenomenally- non-routine.
